2007 Grand American Rhapsody (GAR):  Completed in early 2007, GAR was Bob’s first composition for the Max Mathews prototype wireless Radio Baton.

Bob Rocco performs his Grand American Rhapsody live on the Max Mathews Radio Baton at the 4/16/08 Ars Vitalis concert.

The Radio Baton was used to ‘conduct’ the score using string ensemble samples for the audio provided by Professor V.J. Manzo.

Also on the program and in attendance were composers Robert Rowe, Paul Lansky, and David Sampson.
